Please note our workshop on “advertising” has been cancelled, but we are seeking to replace it with a masterclass on social media.
For those who have not already done so, could you please nominate your preferred masterclasses via this form, so we can ensure the appropriate spaces are allocated for them.
Transport options
Our hosts, Rydges North Sydney, have reminded me there are a few transport options for getting to the hotel:
Parking is available on-site to delegates at a discounted rate of $29 per day.
The brand-new Victoria Cross Metro Station is expected to be open by Congress time. It is located less than 50 metres from the hotel on the corner of McLaren St.
And North Sydney train station is located 10-15 minutes’ walk away along Miller St. Buses are available out the front of the train station. Closest bus stop to the hotel is ‘Miller St at Ridge St’ it is 2 minutes’ walk (210m) along Ridge St and down Elliot St to the hotel.

ACPA Activities
Please be aware, there are a number of Australian Catholic Press Association (ACPA) events taking place in North Sydney alongside the Congress, including the ACPA AGM (August 27) and the ACPA awards dinner (August 28). These events are for ACPA members only.
However, the Congress dinner on August 29 is open to both ACPA and non-ACPA members and is included in the Congress ticket.
Bus option to mass and dinner
There will be a bus option for getting from North Sydney to the CBD for the Congress mass and dinner. Details will follow in the next Congress update email.
